Documentation > The Toolbar > Your PresentationsYour Presentations
The presentation tool allows you to create a presentation which draws on the work you have stored in LL4S. At the moment you can include and place in any order new text, any file you have uploaded and any blog post you have made. This could be useful for, for example, reflecting on your work or presenting the thought processes behind some work you have done. The presentation can be kept private, or made more public by using the access restrictions menu.
The get started click on Your Presentations in the menu at the top of the browser's window. This screen (below) will list any presentations you have already created. Click on New to create a new one.

Give your presentation a title and some keywords (separated by commas) that will allow other users to find it. Now set the Access Restrictions: to start with you may want to keep it private until you have finished and polished it. Once you are ready you can either make it available to everyone (Public) or just to other members of LL4Schools (Logged in users). Finally click on the Create button.

Now you can see that the presentation has been created and is listed along with any others. You can Delete it at any time by click the delete menu (you are asked to confirm - just in case you click ity by mistake!).

But, assuming you do not want to do that as you've only just created it, the next stage is so add content to your presentation. So, click on Edit
There are three types of things you can add to your presentation. (1) Some text, (2) blog posts and (3) files. You can, of course, add as many of these as you like and in any order. Think of it as a way to put into a sensible order the things you have been doing so that you can lead someone else through your work and explain it to them. Perhaps to show and give evidence for the stages you went through in a design for example.

The screenshot above is for adding text: give this section (each item is a section) a title, type the text then click on Add section. Do not worry too much about the order - you can always make changes later.

This one allows you to add a post from your blog - just choose the one you want from the drop down menu, click on the box if you want any comments of you post to be included in your presentation and then click Add section.

Finally, any file you have uploaded can be added to your presentation. Just select it in the normal way and add any explanation you want into the text box. Then click Add section when you are finished.
